Third Grading Period:WOW

This is the second to the last quarter of our school year. Like the previous two grading periods. I have failed to submit some of my requirements. So next time I should be more serious on my requirements, projects, etc. because they contribute big portions in our grade.

In this grading, Mrs. Alegre was very strict with us about our lessons because she said she wants to prepare us for college which is a reasonable reason. I hope it will work.

I've learned some new things like, making web pages, designing it which is very hard, and other things like site map.

I am looking forward for the next grading.

Change: It Starts In Me

How can we make a change? We can make a change by simply picking the trash you see around our campus. We can influence young minds by just showing our actions.

If you want to make a change you must start with yourself. So in doing this you must change the things that needs changing in your personality or whatever. Change them if necessary. You must mean what you are doing. You must be determined for the others to know that your actions are form your heart.

When you watch the news in the television. You can see people that are being arrested by the police, floods destroying cities, earthquakes trembling the earth. You can also see how poor our country is. To solve this things we should make a change in our life. A change that can save others. A change that will be remembered. A change that starts in ourselves.

Something that I know 'bout Christmas

The only thing that I know about their Christmas is that they hang small lights on their homes, they also hang stars. They decorate pine trees with shiny balls and everything. Some children are singing Christmas songs in front of houses to earn some money. And in school they'll have a Christmas program. That is all I know about their Christmas.

I do not do what others do in December because I have a different knowledge about those things. For us Jehovah's Witnesses, we don't celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We do not believe that Jesus was born on December 25 because in the bible, it says there that when Jesus was born, there were shepherds in the grasslands that are guarding their sheep's. And in December, it is impossible to go out because it's too cold. And that is the reason I don't or we JW's do not believe in Christmas. And I learned in our magazine that they only started celebrating the birth of Jesus 300 years after his birth.

Those are the things that I know about Christmas.

Dear Heroes

“Education is most important thing that our parents can give us.” We must bear in mind that our parents are always giving us what we need in school and we should repay it by studying seriously. And there is another parent that is always at school to help us. Our dear teachers.

They say that “they are only computing our grades”. I don’t believe it, they are our insurance for our future. Without them, we’ll have a dull future ahead of us. So I consider them all as heroes in our lives. They are passing to us all the knowledge they have acquired just for us. Without this knowledge there will be nothing ahead of us. So each time were on their classes, we should give them all of our attentions because they are helping us. They are setting the path that we will take.

So this will be a lesson for all of you to follow, Always listen to what you’re teacher has to say to you because they are helping you, helping you develop you’re personality. So that you’ll be a hero in your own way.

Science PRogress Never Stops

In the early days, Science already revealed itself in simple studies just like the discovery of fire. And as the years passed, with the first scientist of our time, Science has been evolved in a better or more useful tool in our daily lives

Scientist improve, modified, created things that are all fantasies in the early ages. Fictions that are made to be true. They invented gadgets to make our daily lives easier, just like the simple stove, with the stove, now we are not gathering and using them to cook our foods. Another is the cell phone, in the 18th century, they are sending messages through mails. Waiting for a month for the reply but now, with a simple click you’re message is delivered anywhere or everywhere you want! Medicine is also a part of the evolution of Science, in the past they cannot cure for example leprosy, they fear people with this ailment. But with the help of science it is now curable. Without this breakthroughs’ we are left with so many burdens to solve, mysteries to unravel but thanks to Einstein and friends we are saved.

Another good thing is, its not yet over! Scientist are still making many discoveries, maybe in the next 30 years we will be able to live on Mars! So keep faith.

Wikang Filipino:Mula Baler hanggang buong Pilipinas

Being a Filipino is just great! I am glad that I’m a Filipino. There are a lot of things to be proud of, we are the best in some international sports, one is in boxing, our lands are rich on natural resources. One is our unique language, we Fiipinos must be proud of our very own language!

Manuel Quezon declared this month of August as the "Buwan ng Wika". We Filipinos should honor this occasion by applying our National Language Tagalog! We must not just use our language in our school just because we report in some subjects in Tagalog. We must exercise ourselves to use this language of ours in a daily basis. We Filipinos must use our language Tagalog!. Today we must begin! Why, don’t you want learn this tongue? Are you contented in you’re local dialect?

I hope this will inspire you to use you’re very own, very unique, only made for us Filipino language, Tagalog…

Keeping mMy Mind on The Game

Our new computer subject in our last year in our school is very interesting. We learned how to share our thoughts in blogging. This helped us a lot in improving our skills in computer. In my past years in this school, I was not that serious in my studies, but in my senior year. I think I had some good improvements in our subject TLE.

We cannot avoid problems in our lives. Specially when you are a student with many responsibilities. In my studies, I think my major problem is my concentration in my studies. But I am trying my best to focus my thoughts in finishing my studies. With Gods help, I believe we can change ourselves.

So, with this dilemma, I think all I need is reviewing my lessons every night. Getting high scores on tests to increase my goals, make my projects, submit them on time, and participate in school activities. I believe with this practices, I can alter myself into the right direction. I hope it will work.

Moving on I will do my best to change my self, do what is right and do what can help or benefit my fellow students and my family.
