Something that I know 'bout Christmas

The only thing that I know about their Christmas is that they hang small lights on their homes, they also hang stars. They decorate pine trees with shiny balls and everything. Some children are singing Christmas songs in front of houses to earn some money. And in school they'll have a Christmas program. That is all I know about their Christmas.

I do not do what others do in December because I have a different knowledge about those things. For us Jehovah's Witnesses, we don't celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We do not believe that Jesus was born on December 25 because in the bible, it says there that when Jesus was born, there were shepherds in the grasslands that are guarding their sheep's. And in December, it is impossible to go out because it's too cold. And that is the reason I don't or we JW's do not believe in Christmas. And I learned in our magazine that they only started celebrating the birth of Jesus 300 years after his birth.

Those are the things that I know about Christmas.

Dear Heroes

“Education is most important thing that our parents can give us.” We must bear in mind that our parents are always giving us what we need in school and we should repay it by studying seriously. And there is another parent that is always at school to help us. Our dear teachers.

They say that “they are only computing our grades”. I don’t believe it, they are our insurance for our future. Without them, we’ll have a dull future ahead of us. So I consider them all as heroes in our lives. They are passing to us all the knowledge they have acquired just for us. Without this knowledge there will be nothing ahead of us. So each time were on their classes, we should give them all of our attentions because they are helping us. They are setting the path that we will take.

So this will be a lesson for all of you to follow, Always listen to what you’re teacher has to say to you because they are helping you, helping you develop you’re personality. So that you’ll be a hero in your own way.

Science PRogress Never Stops

In the early days, Science already revealed itself in simple studies just like the discovery of fire. And as the years passed, with the first scientist of our time, Science has been evolved in a better or more useful tool in our daily lives

Scientist improve, modified, created things that are all fantasies in the early ages. Fictions that are made to be true. They invented gadgets to make our daily lives easier, just like the simple stove, with the stove, now we are not gathering and using them to cook our foods. Another is the cell phone, in the 18th century, they are sending messages through mails. Waiting for a month for the reply but now, with a simple click you’re message is delivered anywhere or everywhere you want! Medicine is also a part of the evolution of Science, in the past they cannot cure for example leprosy, they fear people with this ailment. But with the help of science it is now curable. Without this breakthroughs’ we are left with so many burdens to solve, mysteries to unravel but thanks to Einstein and friends we are saved.

Another good thing is, its not yet over! Scientist are still making many discoveries, maybe in the next 30 years we will be able to live on Mars! So keep faith.

Keeping mMy Mind on The Game

Our new computer subject in our last year in our school is very interesting. We learned how to share our thoughts in blogging. This helped us a lot in improving our skills in computer. In my past years in this school, I was not that serious in my studies, but in my senior year. I think I had some good improvements in our subject TLE.

We cannot avoid problems in our lives. Specially when you are a student with many responsibilities. In my studies, I think my major problem is my concentration in my studies. But I am trying my best to focus my thoughts in finishing my studies. With Gods help, I believe we can change ourselves.

So, with this dilemma, I think all I need is reviewing my lessons every night. Getting high scores on tests to increase my goals, make my projects, submit them on time, and participate in school activities. I believe with this practices, I can alter myself into the right direction. I hope it will work.

Moving on I will do my best to change my self, do what is right and do what can help or benefit my fellow students and my family.

Speak English And Filipino with Kindness

English and Filipino, these are the two languages that is commonly used in our land. We should develop these two languages to communicate well to our fellow Filipino and our tourist, who are visiting our country.

Filipino, our national language, we should master. In honor to our country, we should not lessen the importance of our native language. This connects us to one another. Without understanding each other, we cannot function as one united country, but with Filipino, we are one.

English, the language used around the world. All people should all know how to speak this tongue. We can use English as a living in our country. With good English skills, you can apply in call centers, you can also use this in touring tourist in you’re place, like in Vigan. The kutseros can tour them around Vigan tourist sites and earn living to support you’re family.

These languages are being taught in schools, so there is no excuse in not knowing this language. So help yourself and use English and Filipino daily.

Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Disease Iwasan.

Health is the capital of our living. So we have to improve it to get some profit.

We should take in nutritious foods to keep our body healthy. We should take balance diet everyday. And be sure to have enough exercise for you to sweat you’re toxins. With this practices, we can avoid diseases includes high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and other diseases. This lifestyle disease can cause big problems to our households. If you acquire this kind of disease, it is hard to cure them; it takes time in curing lifestyle diseases. Just like high blood pressure, you have to take maintenance to maintain you’re blood pressure.

A healthy person has many things. That’s because he is not spending much on his medications, he’s just taking general checkups once in two years. That is all you have to spend when you can maintain a good lifestyle. And a healthy person don’t spend time on hospitals, he spends more time in work, carrier, and wit h his family.

This is all I can share to you. I hope it can help you improve you’re inner state.
